What is BRCvr?

BRCvr is an award-winning truly immersive experience that hosts the global Burning Man community year-round. We are an inclusive community where cultural, ethnic, sexual and gender identities are celebrated and shared. During the Virtual Burn 2021, join tens of thousands of like-minded artists, technologists, dreamers and pranksters on PC, MAC or most VR Headsets. Visit hundreds of worlds and art installations, performances, and hundreds of hours of events that foster conversation, radical self-expression, and connection.

We are now. Immediacy. We have events going on right now and all year long. Enter your email above to get all our updates. Virtual Burn Week was August 29 – Sept 7,2021. However, we Burn all year. Build your VR agility skills and learn some functionality while making sure the AltspaceVR application is updated and your login is still working. There have been many changes to the platform since last year, last month, and just last week. It’s time to prep for the virtual playa. 

Where is BRCvr?

BRCvr is located on the free AltspaceVR platform. You can download it as an app on your PC, Mac or most VR headsets. 

Why BRCvr?

That’s for you to decide. Everyone’s “why they go to Burning Man” is unique. So is this experience.

How do I participate in BRCvr?

Here is a short video to walk you through the process of setting up your AltspaceVR account. We recommend you do this immediately so you can join in all the pre-burn week fun and learn the platform functionality.
